Well we're fast approaching the last day of our first ever RSL (Restricted Service Licence) from Ofcom and what a brilliant four weeks we have had!
In addition to the broadcast service that we provide on www.redshiftradio.co.uk/player.htm we have been serving the communities around Crewe in South Cheshire on 87.7FM.
It is our aim to apply for and be awarded a full time community radio licence when the opportunity arises within the next two years.
At RedShift we like to do things differently. We are not trying to be the next Radio 1 or Signal Radio. Our aim is to Bring Communities Together through the medium of broadcast and referral marketing.
We invite businesses, community groups, charities and school children in to share with our listeners news about what they are doing. Guests are able to purchase a copy of their two-hour show on CD that can be directly used for marketing purposes and self promotion.
We also invite guests to consider joining the RedShift Hub, this is the referral marketing arm of the organisation and is where our guests are often selected from if a specialist in a certain field is required.
